Unilux LTD., a privately held security integrator specializing in video surveillance for over 25 years and Granite Security also a privately held company, specializing in security advisory services, staffing, access control and intrusion detection — announce today that they will merge to become one organization that will be known as Granilux Solutions. The official transition will begin January 1, 2019.
Today’s announcement is a milestone for Unilux & Granite Security. Unilux and Granite have teamed together on projects for 10+ years. Together, these two brands are united by a shared passion for innovation, quality and performance. Ronnie Fewell, acting Granilux CEO says, “With the merger, Granilux will be able to broaden our capabilities giving us the ability to meet the needs of diverse markets, organizations and individuals”. Both brands will benefit from the expertise they each have to offer, leveraging the reputation they have worked to build over the past 30+ years.
As a combined organization, Granilux will be focused on growth, innovation and delivering advanced custom security solutions to their clients.
Granilux Solutions headquarters will remain in Gaithersburg, MD – the same building as the existing Granite and Unilux space – with the construction of a new configuration and product development lab to be complete in the Spring of 2019. Granilux will serve the greater Baltimore and Washington DC markets and will maintain their global reach servicing clients new and existing worldwide.
