This church, one of the largest in Maryland, with over 11,000 active members, is a significant provider of spiritual guidance, outreach programs, and humanitarian support locally and around the globe. To ensure the safety and security of its extensive facilities and congregation, the church tapped Granilux to upgrade its security systems.
Granilux worked closely with the church to implement a phased approach for upgrading the security infrastructure across its facilities. This included migrating from an outdated analog system to a modern, IP-based security system, replacing the old setup with a cloud-based system and more than 100 cameras. This upgrade featured higher-quality surveillance footage, remote monitoring capabilities, and greater flexibility to manage the security system from anywhere.
Granilux also designed and deployed a custom wireless point-to-point network for the church’s parking lots. This network supports more than 25 strategically-placed cameras that offered wider coverage. Granilux also incorporated License Plate Capture technology as part of this system, enabling the church to monitor vehicle access and enhance overall security in the parking facilities.
This advanced security upgrade not only improves the protection of the church’s physical spaces but also ensures that the congregation can continue to gather with peace of mind. Granilux’s innovative solutions have played a key role in creating a safer, more secure environment for both the church members and the surrounding community.
